Are you willing to take the plunge for Special Olympics?

Are you willing to take the plunge for Special Olympics?

Fancy taking a dip into freezing cold water all in the name of charity? Well, The Polar Plunge for Special Olympics will take place on Clogherhead Beach, Saturday 6th December at 11am. This fun, unique event will help to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics.

Be one of the 100 participants, we are aiming to sign up, to take a dip into freezing cold water. The cold feeling will only be short lived… while the positive impact it will have on Special Olympics athletes will last a lifetime.

The cold dip will only take a few minutes and don’t worry we’ll be there with hot drinks and treats to warm you up after…. You’ll enjoy the mince pie all the more after your run into the water. You can wear what you like on the day, but we would encourage fancy dress and there will be a prize for best fancy dress on the day.
