Wishing Leaving Cert Students Well Ahead Of Results On Wednesday

I would like to express my good wishes to all students who are awaiting their Leaving Certificate results on Wednesday, 12th August.

As a mother of a student awaiting her Leaving Certificate results I understand that this is a stressful time for both students and their families.  There are many pressures surrounding not only the day of the results but in the subsequent days when decisions are being made regarding college places and courses.

A free helpline will be available to students and parents which will offer information and advice for any query they may have once they receive their results.  The helpline is provided by the National Parents' Council Post Primary and will be staffed by experienced guidance counsellors.  

The Freephone number is 1800 265 165 and will be open from Wednesday, 12th August to Wednesday, 19th August.
