Information on Funding Opportunities for Local Community Groups & Organisations
€5M Fund Available to Community Groups:
Funding is now available to community and voluntary sector organisations as well as local development companies to promote youth employment; supports for home carers; capital grants for social enterprises; initiatives to prevent substance misuse; and supports for people with disabilities.
Applications are being accepted until the closing date of 22nd July 2015.

Grants Available For Local Mental Health Projects:
The Community Foundation of Ireland is now accepting applications from local groups working on mental health projects. The Community Foundation of Ireland are seeking organisations to replicate the BeWell Bray project in local towns and have grants of up to €7,000 available.
As part of the application process, groups will need to indicate the following:
-Why such a project is needed in the community
-How the 'Be Well' model can be applied in a local context
-How does this fit with other mental health work in the area
Closing date for application is 24th July 2015.
