The Women's Fund for Ireland is seeking applications to develop new community-based approaches to preventing domestic violence from local groups or not-for-profit organisations.
The focus is on developing on community-based approaches which can include but are not limited to the following:
- Early childhood interventions
- Working with men and boys on changing gender norms
- School/education based interventions
- Influencing policy
Any groups that wish to make an application should demonstrate:
- How the project will contribute to the prevention of domestic violence
- Why your organisation is best placed to lead a project such as this
- The need for such a project
The deadline for applications is Friday, 7th August at 5pm. The maximum grant amount in this round of funding is €2,000.
