Information on Upcoming Ireland 2016 Local Public Workshops

Ireland 2016 is the national and international initiative to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising.  Three upcoming local Ireland 2016 public workshops will be taking place in our area in the coming weeks:

• Wednesday, 3rd June - 7pm in Drogheda Library
• Tuesday, 9th June - 7pm in Dundalk Library
• Thursday, 11th June - 7pm in Ardee Library

One of the key strands of the 2016 Centenary Programme is Community Participation.  The public workshops provide an opportunity for people to get involved in the development of a 1916 centenary programme for Co. Louth.
