Ireland 2016 is the national and international initiative to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising. Ireland 2016 public workshops will be take place in Dundalk Library tonight, Tuesday, 9th June at 7pm.
A further public workshop will is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 11th June at 7pm in Ardee Library.
One of the key strands of the 2016 Centenary Programme is Community Participation. The public workshops provide an opportunity for people to get involved in the development of a 1916 centenary programme for Co. Louth.
