I welcome the announcement today that a new courthouse will be built in Drogheda on Wellington Quay site at Linenhall Street/Patrickswell Lane. The new courthouse will consist of 2 courtrooms and associated facilities. Construction is expected to commence in November 2015 with final delivery due in November 2017.
The announcement was made today by the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) that BAM PPP PGGM is the Preferred Tenderer for the Courts Bundle PPP Project. The Courts Bundle PPP Project is part of of the €1.4bn PPP stimulus package.
The Courts Bundle project involves refurbishing three courthouses and building four new courthouses.
